How to Get to Barangka, Marikina City?
Barangka serves as one of the main gateways to Marikina City, strategically located near the boundaries of Pasig City and Quezon City. As one of the city's busiest barangays, it has become a thriving commercial area and an ideal location for businesses.
Among its notable landmarks are Riverbanks Center (formerly Riverbanks Mall), Loyola Memorial Park, the Amphitheater, the Gazebo, and the Philippine Science Centrum. Several business process outsourcing (BPO) companies have also established offices in the area.
From Cubao:
From Aurora Boulevard in Cubao, ride a jeepney with Calumpang, SSS Village, or Parang/Fortune signages. These routes pass through Barangka and will take you directly to Riverbanks Center, Loyola Memorial Park, the Amphitheater, the Gazebo, and the Philippine Science Centrum.
From Manila:
Take the LRT-2 and get off at Katipunan Station. From there, ride a jeepney with Calumpang, SSS Village, or Parang/Fortune signages.
From Monumento or Fairview:
By bus: Take a bus bound for Cubao. Upon reaching Aurora Boulevard, ride a jeepney with Calumpang, SSS Village, or Parang/Fortune signages.
By train: Take the MRT and get off at Araneta Center-Cubao Station. Proceed to Aurora Boulevard and ride the same jeepney routes.
From Alabang, Pasay, or Makati
By bus: Take a bus bound for Cubao. Upon reaching Aurora Boulevard, ride a jeepney with Calumpang, SSS Village, or Parang/Fortune signages.
By train: Take the MRT and alight at Araneta Center-Cubao Station. If coming from Alabang, you may first take a bus to Magallanes and transfer to the MRT. From Cubao, ride a jeepney with Calumpang, SSS Village, or Parang/Fortune signages.
These jeepney routes provide direct access to the major attractions and establishments in Barangka.
