How to Get to Fortune, Marikina City?
Fortune is one of the easternmost barangays of Marikina City, situated near the boundary of San Mateo, Rizal. Known for its quiet residential communities and laid-back atmosphere, Fortune offers a more relaxed environment compared to the city's commercial center.
The barangay has long been associated with several large industrial establishments, including the former site of Fortune Tobacco Corporation and manufacturing facilities such as Armscor Philippines. It also serves as one of the outermost destinations of several Marikina jeepney routes.
From Cubao
From Aurora Boulevard in Cubao, ride a jeepney with any of the following signages:
Parang-Fortune Molave
Parang-Fortune Philstress
Parang-Fortune Lamuan
These routes travel directly to Fortune and nearby areas in eastern Marikina.
From Manila
Take the LRT-2 and get off at Katipunan Station. From there, ride a jeepney with a Parang-Fortune Molave, Parang-Fortune Philstress, or Parang-Fortune Lamuan signage.
From Monumento or Fairview
By bus: Take a bus bound for Cubao and get off along Aurora Boulevard. Ride any jeepney with the Parang-Fortune signages mentioned above.
By train: Take the MRT and get off at Araneta Center-Cubao Station. Proceed to Aurora Boulevard and ride a jeepney bound for Fortune.
From Alabang, Pasay, or Makati
By bus: Take a bus bound for Cubao and get off along Aurora Boulevard. From there, ride a jeepney with a Parang-Fortune Molave, Parang-Fortune Philstress, or Parang-Fortune Lamuan signage.
By train: Take the MRT and alight at Araneta Center-Cubao Station. If coming from Alabang, you may first take a bus to Magallanes and transfer to the MRT. From Cubao, ride a jeepney bound for Fortune.
These jeepney routes provide direct access to Fortune's residential communities, industrial areas, and the eastern sections of Marikina City.
