Concepcion Market

Concepcion Public Market was chosen as one of the winners of the 2005 Department of Agriculture's search for "Huwarang Palengke: Mura Na, Malinis Pa," a public market category. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and the Department of Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap gave certicate of recognition and half a million pesos worth of grant. Concepcion Public Market is located along Bayan-Bayanan Avenue.

Update: On July 9, 2012, the Concepcion Public Market caught fire and burned to ground. Around P5 million worth of properties were destroyed. Click here to read the story.

thanks for dropping by my blog. i have a friend J, who's also from marikina who toured me though she doesn't know much about your city. she just lives near SSS.

what i was asking here for the longest time was the location of marikorea. a monument to the filipinos who fought during the korean war. i can't find information on the monument's location :(

tutubi, marikorea monument is only a few blocks away from marikina's world of butterflies, sa evolution park lang, sa marikina heights, tapat ng c&p mall. sayang, di mo nakita. there really is no picture of it sa internet. hmmm, sige i will take picture of it and i will post it in here.

guys, i need to know how to get to concepcion market from mandaluyong ng pa-commute. my friend is a victim of human trafficking and i need to get to her this saturday. i would appreciate help on this.
