Marikina City: A Bikable City

It was only twenty years ago when I was trying to learn to ride my first bike. During that time, it was quite hard to learn it. The roads in Marikina were either too narrow, too muddy or too rough. It wasn't safe for us bikers and there were motor vehicles everywhere.

Jst recently, Irealized that our city isn't like that anymore. Bcause now, we can freely run, play and ride our bikes right along the river. Sdewalks were cleared and bicycle lanes were alloted to most streets in Maikina. Ffty-two kilometers of bikeways were constructed within the city to date. I am so happy to be living in this city.
