How to Get to Sto. Niño, Marikina City?
Sto. Niño holds a special place in the heart of many Marikeños. One of the oldest and most beloved barangays in Marikina, it is home to some of the city's most popular landmarks and gathering places. Visitors can enjoy the scenic Marikina River Park, the Marikina Sports Center, Sto. Niño Elementary School, and a variety of local eateries that have become institutions among generations of residents. Whether you're exploring the city for the first time or revisiting old memories, Sto. Niño always offers something worth discovering.
From Cubao
From Aurora Boulevard in Cubao, you have two convenient options:
Ride a jeepney with the Calumpang signboard and get off after crossing the Marikina Bridge. From there, you'll be within walking distance of local favorites along J.P. Rizal Street and Villalon Street, as well as the Marikina River Park.
Alternatively, ride a jeepney or UV Express with the SSS Village, Parang Fortune, Parang Lamuan, or Parang Molave signboard. These routes pass directly through Sto. Niño and provide easy access to the Marikina River Park, Sto. Niño Elementary School, the Marikina Sports Center, the City Hall area, and nearby establishments.
From Manila
Take the LRT-2 and get off at LRT-2 Katipunan Station. From there, you may ride either a Calumpang-bound jeepney or a jeepney/UV Express with the SSS Village, Parang Fortune, Parang Lamuan, or Parang Molave signboard.
From Monumento or Fairview
By bus: Take a bus bound for Cubao. Upon reaching Aurora Boulevard, transfer to either a Calumpang-bound jeepney or one of the routes heading to SSS Village, Parang Fortune, Parang Lamuan, or Parang Molave.
By train: Take the MRT-3 and alight at Araneta Center-Cubao MRT Station. From Aurora Boulevard, ride any of the routes mentioned above.
From Alabang, Pasay, or Makati
By bus: Ride a bus to Cubao. Once there, proceed to Aurora Boulevard and board either a Calumpang-bound jeepney or a jeepney/UV Express bound for SSS Village, Parang Fortune, Parang Lamuan, or Parang Molave.
By train: Take the MRT-3 and get off at Araneta Center-Cubao MRT Station. Travelers from Alabang may first take a bus to Magallanes before transferring to the MRT. From Cubao, ride any of the Sto. Niño-bound routes.
The Calumpang, SSS Village, and Parang-bound routes are among the easiest ways to reach Sto. Niño, placing you close to the Marikina River Park, the Marikina Sports Center, and many of the local food spots and community landmarks that make this barangay one of Marikina's most cherished destinations.

In the old days I would say that Sto. Nino is the heart of Marikina. As you descend the bridge, Barangka, Tanong, Jesus de la Pena is behind and on your right is Sta. Elena, San Roque and Calumpang while on you left is Malanday, Concepcion, Parang and SSS.
