Tapapa Marikina is your newest and hippest hole in the wall eatery located along J.P. Rizal Street, in Barangay Malanday, Lamuan. The name Tapapa comes from the two Filipino words: tapa and pares. Tapa is a typical Filipino breakfast dish made from thinly sliced meat either smoked or cured, perfectly paired with garlic rice. Pares is your classic Filipino beef stew also served with garlic rice and soup.

Sizzling Sisig is one of my most favorite food in Tapapa. Priced at ₱120 an order, it's surely bang for one's buck. It's not healthy yet very fulfilling. Calling all sisig lovers out there.
Bulalo ng Tagaytay is boiled beef shank and some marrow soup. A big bowl of this soup this February will surely make everyone happy. The meat was kind of hard but the soup had that clean aftertaste and not oily. It was filled with so much vegetable and oozing with beefy flavor. ₱160 for medium sized bone marrow and ₱199 for large sized bone marrow.
Roasted Bone Marrow Pares comes with garlic rice and hash browns. Priced at ₱175. Very affordable and creamy.
Platter in a Box B is their priciest item in their store (₱399) yet it is your most perfect happy box that you can take home with you to share with your family and loved ones. It contains the most flavorful and sinful food that you can possibly think of. It has your slightly sweet salty tapa, Vigan bagnet, Vigan longganisa, Hungarian sausage, two sunny side up eggs and two cups of garlic rice. It also comes with your favorite condiments (toyo, suka at calamansi).
Tapapa is you go-to place if you are craving for anything. They have tapa, pares, fish, soup, taco, everything. You name it, they have it. Open from sunrise to sundown, breakfast to dinner and even midnight snack, from 6:30AM to 12:30AM, Mondays to Saturdays. Visit their store located along J.P. Rizal Street, Malanday (Lamuan) near Graceland Plaza. You can contact them via their Facebook and Instagram accounts or order via Food Panda and Grab Food. Let's support the small local businesses.
